Maybe it is because it just wasn't on my radar when I lived up north, but if you can't already tell, I really love (and might be slightly obsessed with) strawberry picking season.
Strawberries are refreshingly delish, and catching them in what I would call their “prime” makes for some delicious treats in the form of yummy snacks, beverages, and everything you can think of.
When is Strawberry Season?
The season varies depending on location. But strawberries are grown almost everywhere. Meaning that when they are “in season” on your area, you should be able to find them at your local farmer's market.
Commercial strawberries that are found in stores are grown in California and Florida pretty much all year long. But the prime season for strawberries usually falls somewhere between April and June.
