Pepperoni Pizza Puffins Recipe

Pepperoni pizza muffins, also known as "Puffins", are a great fast, simple Saturday recipe perfect for the kiddos to help with.

Ingredients
 

  • 2 packages Betty Crocker Pizza Crust
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 ¼ cups red sauce
  • 2 ½ cups mozzarella
  • 1 package sliced pepperoni

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 450 ℉.
  • Mix pizza crust mix and water in mixing bowl. Set aside for 5 mins.
  • Spray muffin pans with non-stick spray.
  • In the bottom of each muffin pan put 1 Tbsp of pizza dough and press with back of spoon.
  • Add 1 Tbsp sauce atop sauce for each muffin.
  • Place 1-2 pepperoni slices on each muffin over sauce.
  • Top each muffin with 2 Tbsp of Mozzarella.
  • Bake 13-17 minutes depending on the oven. Take out when cheese is completely melted and slightly browned.
  • Remove from muffin pans and let cool.
  • Enjoy!
