Crock Pot Mashed Potatoes Recipe

Mashed potatoes cooked slowly in the crockpot, then mashed with butter and heavy cream for a perfect comfort food side dish.

Ingredients
 

  • 8 - 10 medium potatoes
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup butter at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp garlic

Instructions
 

  • Peel and slice potatoes.
  • Place the potatoes in the crockpot.
  • Pour in the broth.
  • Sprinkle in garlic.
  • Add 1/4 cup butter.
  • Cover and cook on high for 3 1/2 - 4 hours, until potatoes, are very soft.
  • Drain any leftover liquids from the crockpot.
  • Use a potato masher to mash the potatoes until smooth.
