Place frozen ground meat in the instant pot.
Add in a cup of water to the bottom of the instant pot.
Close and lock the instant pot and using the meat setting, set the timer to 15 minutes and high pressure.
Once it is done, do a quick release, letting all the steam out.
Drain the water from the bottom of the instant pot and turn on the saute option.
Using a spoon, break up the meat into crumbles. Season if you like to add extra seasoning beyond the taco seasoning.
I use seasoning salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Brown the meat until all the pink is gone, and then add in your taco seasoning and cook according to the instructions.
