Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground meat (turkey, beef, or chicken)
  • Taco seasoning (packet or homemade)
  • Water

Instructions

  • Place frozen ground meat in the instant pot.
  • Add in a cup of water to the bottom of the instant pot.
  • Close and lock the instant pot and using the meat setting, set the timer to 15 minutes and high pressure.
  • Once it is done, do a quick release, letting all the steam out.
  • Drain the water from the bottom of the instant pot and turn on the saute option.
  • Using a spoon, break up the meat into crumbles.  Season if you like to add extra seasoning beyond the taco seasoning.
  • I use seasoning salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Brown the meat until all the pink is gone, and then add in your taco seasoning and cook according to the instructions.
  • Enjoy!
