Ingredients

  • 8 medium apples
  • ½ cup water
  • c white sugar
  • c light brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • tsp cloves
  • tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  • Wash the apples of then slice to remove the core and leaving the peel on.
  • Cook on high pressure in the Instant Pot for 20 minutes.  I use the Stan function on mine. But all models have different functionality.
  • Do a 10 minute natural release and release the remaining steam.
  • Add in seasonings and puree together with apples.
  • If the mixture is too thin, you can switch to the sauté function on low, stirring occasionally until it’s thick enough to your liking.
