Equipment

  • 1 Applicator brush or sponge

Materials

  • Paint or paint sample
  • Applicator brush or sponge
  • Sure Swatch paint sample pack

Instructions

  • Place the SureSwatch on a flat surface with the unprinted side up.
  • Paint the unprinted side of the film using two coats.
  • Allow for normal drying time. When it is dry to the touch it is safe to handle.
  • Cut off the Primer Decider Scale. Peel the backing off and stick it to the adhesive side and set aside.
  • Peel backing of film off sample piece to reveal adhesive side and stick on the wall that needs to be painted.

Primer Decider Scale

  • It is intended to determine if a primer is needed. If the primer is needed it helps to find the right shade of primer.
  • After placing the primer decider scale under paint, if it does not show through, no primer is needed.
  • If it shows through, use the squares to determine which shade is preferred and advise the paint technician when purchasing primer.
