Fried Apples Recipe

Ingredients
 

  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 - 5 lb bag of apples
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Clean apples
  • Peel apples
  • Slice apples and remove apple cores
  • Melt stick of butter in skillet (preferably cast iron)
  • Add in sugar and brown sugar
  • Stir melted butter and sugars together and let simmer one minute
  • Add in apples and stir to coat apples in mixture
  • Add cinnamon, lemon extract and vanilla extract
  • Cover and let simmer, stirring occasionally
  • Let apples cook until soft and remove from heat
  • Serve and Enjoy!
