I am a lover of breakfast. It’s the best meal of the day, at any time of the day.
I cook good food. Because I love to eat good food.
I have a lot of random knowledge. And as I learn new things, I like to share the wealth.
I may be a project creator. And my home is my canvas.
Basically, I’m a modern day homemaker. I like to take care of home AND do other things too.
A who feels dessert is its own food group, breakfast is the best meal of the day, at any part of the day, and sunshine saves lives.
For real, that vitamin D is essential y’all.
I love coffee, spiked milkshakes, and fancy hot chocolate.
I hate shopping, unless it’s for my home. And I’d be willing to cook for the person willing to shop and dress me daily.
Habitat for Humanity and Home Depot need an anonymous support group for people like me.
My husband can take me to either of those places and we’ll call it a date.
Speaking of the hubs, he’s handsome and handy, and he loves me, a lot. So I basically hit the husband lottery.
We met when we were 13 started dating 13 years later and here we are…
Ain’t we cute?
We are building a life and the stuff we want in it together. Which makes every bit of it worth it.
Three crazy kids, a dog, and a house with a list of projects to be done. We’re living the life….
In late 2016 we quit our jobs, sold our house, and packed up our three kids and headed south. It’s where we had really wanted to be. It’s been a bumpy road, but we’re holding on for the ride and trying to enjoy the view. North Carolina is where we call home.
I am an admitted
And for this reason, I love to continually carve out my space to make it as comfortable as it can be. A place filled with warmth, love, and the smell of good food, complete with all of my decorative and personal touches.

Through hard work and lots of effort, I am continually figuring out ways to feed my family of 5 healthy, quick meals that don’t break the bank and without taking up all the minutes in my day.
I want to show you that homemade does not mean hours in the kitchen and delicious can happen in thirty minutes. Because good food don’t take all day!
As I learn new things and ways of doing things, I like to share. Because I love to help people do and be better.
So welcome! I am so glad you are here.
