Arriving in an organized storage box the Dremel SawMax is a beautiful home improvement type of tool. There’s room in the storage case for other tools and more blades for this tool.

This tool has been a lifesaver in letting me get some of my projects done without having to summon my husband's help.   You can easily cut up to ¾” deep and the fact that it’s a handheld, you’ll be able to work on smaller projects or crafts around the house.

I used it when I was ready to make the doors for my dresser I turned into a buffet.  My husband had been traveling for a week and was shocked when he came home and the project was finished.

While he does not intentionally keep me waiting, it happens that way a lot cause… life.  This let me move at my own pace without having to depend on him to us the larger saw which he doesn’t want to show me how to use.

With a 6-amp motor, there’s just enough power to get those jobs done around the house or complete a special project that requires some advanced cutting. And sometimes, it is just better than having to use a large table saw or another more advanced cutter.

You can easily fit it in the palm of your hand while you work for a perfect

There’s a lock button at the top of this handheld cutting tool that you press down on. Then you can use the included Allen wrench to loosen up the nut in a clockwise turn.

Next, you’ll remove the bolt as well as the pressure plate and replace with a new blade, returning the pressure plate and bolt while locking the safety lock button at the top front of the Dremel SawMax for safe use.

You can adjust the cutting depth.  You can go as deep as ¾ of an inch, but you can make the cut less deep if needed.

That’s why I personally enjoy having this handheld cutting tool; it’s a wonderful addition for crafts or school projects that require a little more extensive cutting.

To put it bluntly, the Dremel SawMax is perfect for precision style cutting.

My Thoughts on the Dremel SawMax

[penci_review]

I’ve been able to enjoy having it in our home for those precision cutting tasks that come for a quick part of a project here and there.  It does require a little practice to get straight cuts.  But once you get the hang of it, you will never look back!

Where to Get Yours

You can buy the Dremel SawMax online and at most retailers that sell home improvement tools, such as The Home Depot.

Add-ons

There are add-ons that you can purchase to make the most out of your Dremel.  But it’s quite a handy tool on its own without any extras.

For example, if you’re thinking about using the Dremel SawMax for some trim or flooring and need a flusher cut, you can purchase the SM600 Multi-Purpose Flush Cut Carbide Wheel to finish up any of your home flooring and trim needs without stirring up too much dust and getting a nice, flush cut for that small home improvement job.

It’s funny cause I thought I was a DIYer when I had my own toolbox and drill.  But now adding on to my tool collection and even getting my own workbench I feel official.  And it all started cause I wanted a nice house without having to spend all of our money to make it that way!
