I have good news and I have bad news. The good news is that I have found a new indulgent snack in the Kemps Yo2 Frozen Yogurt, and there is something special for you at the end of this post. And for the bad news, keep reading.
And I don't want you guys to think the reason I didn't share is because I have something to hide. Because reality is, I wanna hide. Under a rock…
I'm a little embarrassed.
But I have to share.
I said I wanted to be held accountable, so here it is. Hold me accountable.
My weight isn't any less than what it was last month. And while I DID lose weight this month. It is only the weight that I gained while my parents were here. *hangs head in shame*
When I get with my parents, we laugh, we have good times, we celebrate. Which all usually includes food. Good food. Plenty of Good Food.
By the time they left I had gained 8 lbs. EIGHT. A whole eight pounds! I worked so hard to get those darn 8 lbs off and just like that they were back.
I’ve got back to the gym. And I’ve started to shake it back off. But one thing I can not do is completely ignore my sweet tooth.
Thank god for Kemps Yo2 frozen yogurt.
Because not only is it perfect as a healthy guilt-free indulgent treat. It also helps with keeping cool in this hot North Carolina sun. can you say winning….
While on this journey of getting fit and eating better, I have been trying to do better in our food choices, learning more about farm fresh, and even making more meals from scratch.
Kemps supports all of that, as it has NO high fructose corn syrup, NO artificial flavors, and NO artificial growth hormones. Owned by family farmers, Kemps transforms natures pure milk into great products everyday like the Yo2 frozen yogurt.
Thank you Kemps!
It even gets approval from my in house trainer – the hubs. As it is the best indulgent alternative there is.
Let me point this out one more time in case you missed it. It has:
- NO high fructose corn syrup
- NO artificial growth hormones
- NO artificial flavors
While preparing for the upcoming move this past weekend, after a full day of adulting, we put the kiddos to bed and headed to our local 24-Hour Harris Teeter and grabbed us a container each at midnight.
I was on the hunt!!
While we didn’t eat the full containers, we sure could have. With just a few spoonfuls, my craving was satisfied.
I got the Cold Brew Coffee flavor, while hubs chose the Salted Caramel Cookie Crunch. With that real coffee taste, when I woke up the next morning I wanted to grab it and go for it again.
But I didn’t.
You can even overdo a good thing. And this is a good thing y’all. *pats self on back*

Here’s my fitness update:
*hangs head in shame again*
My schedule was off this month. Alot of variables including my kids being tracked out from school, my husband was out of town for 3 days, and my parents came in town. So my schedule was thrown off a little.
What I am eating
While my parents were here we went out to eat for my daughter's birthday, and then mom and I had lunch a time or two. Daddy stay cooking full breakfasts, and ya girl was doomed.
My current struggle(s)
Motivation and my schedule lacking consistency.
I am at 174 lbs. So I have 3 more lbs to get down back to where I was at the top of May.
